The Studer AJ inverter series consists of sturdy, powerful and reliable true sine wave inverters with compact dimensions. They convert the DC voltage of a battery into AC voltage which can be used by all electrical appliances.
The excellent overload capability allows a safe operation of consumers with high starting current, e.g. vacuum cleaner, refridgerator or electric tools. Furthermore the true sine-wave output voltage ensures a trouble-free operation of sensitive appliances.
An integrated stand-by function with adjustable load detection turns the inverter into sleep mode, once all consumers have been switched off. Thus self-consumption of the inverter is minimized, ensuring an efficient use of the stored energy. Important! This feature is not available for the AJ 275 to AJ400 without option "S" (solar charger)!
The AJ inverters are available for 12, 24 and 48V battery systems. For an easy installation, the battery and AC connecting cable are already pre-mounted.
Optionally the inverters can be equipped with an integrated solar charge regulator. This feature allows to easily set up a compact photovoltaic off-grid power station.
It is possible to connect a remote control to the AJ1000 to AJ2400 inverter units. With this optional accessory the inverter can be remotely switched on and off.

Integrated Solar Charge Regulator (option "S")
The AJ inverters can be supplied with a built-in solar charge regulator (I/U/Uo). This option allows to extend the inverter system to a complete and easy-to-install photovoltaic off-grid system.
Please take care of selecting a suitable solar generator. Open circuit voltage as well as short circuit current of the solar generator have to meet the technical specifications (s. technical data table) of the solar charge regulator.
