In December 2009, the Suntech Solar Testing Laboratory has been certified by the VDE (Association of Electrical Engineering) as the first company in Asia. Suntech Power has the latest test equipment including a walk-in UV light chamber, a walk-in salt fog chamber and a steam chamber.

The monocrystalline Ad + modules feature a very high efficiency up to 15.3% and deliver consistently high performance with low space requirement.

All modules are delivered with a positive output tolerance of 0-5W. The anti-reflective, hydrophobic coating improves light absorption and reduces surface dust. The rigid construction of the module frame and the specially designed drainage holes prevent the module from deforming or breaking due to freezing weather and other forces.

The entire Module is designed to withstand high wind loads up to 2400 Pascal and snow loads up to 5400 Pascal.
