Product Description
The Steca PR 2020 IP has been specially designed for operation in difficult environments with high salt, moisture and dust content.
The functional diversity as well as the large LCD display are the main features of the Steca PR charge controller. It works on the shunt principle. Here, the module output is controlled by short-circuiting and thus the battery is protected from being overcharged. At the same time, consumers are disconnected in time from the battery in order to avoid a harmful discharge. The Steca PR is suitable for both 12V and 24V system voltage.
The intelligent state of charge determination (SoC) combined with the latest charging technology, guarantee an optimal battery maintenance.
A large display informs the user about all operating modes with the aid of symbols. The state of charge is represented visually in the form of a tank display. Data such as voltage, current and state of charge can also be displayed digitally as figures on the display. In addition, the controller has an energy meter which can be reset by the user.
All settings as well as the turning on and off of the load is done by means of two buttons on the front side.
The PR charge controller is fully protected by electronic fuses.
